Description
Two stories of office space was added on top of an existing parking deck at the Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC. In order to resist the additional dead load and seismic load, Subsurface Construction installed micropiles at four locations to support shear towers. The micropiles were installed to 70 feet depth in low overhead conditions.
